Job Title: Customer Engineer
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay: 22.00 an hr
Job Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Description:
Role Overview: The End User Device Technician will primarily be responsible for providing end-user support for a client based out of Spartanburg, SC. This includes the installation, repair, setup, configuration, upgrade, and relocation of end-user devices. Additionally, the role will involve office moves/setup and minimal migration tasks
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, setup, configure, and upgrade end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Assist with office moves/setup, including relocating and setting up end-user devices at new locations.
Provide minimal migration support during office moves or technology upgrades.
Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to end-user devices.
Ensure timely completion of end-user support requests and tickets.
Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
Document all activities, configurations, and changes accurately.
Collaborate with other IT support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in end-user device support or related field preferred.
Strong technical skills in installing, repairing, and configuring end-user devices.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common office software applications.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
Work Schedule:
Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation and alternating work days.
On Call: Yes.
Variable Schedule: Yes.
Overtime: Yes.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
