Digital School Psychologist - Remote Position
About VocoVision: VocoVision is a leading provider of online education services, dedicated to connecting qualified professionals with K-12 students across the country. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Digital School Psychologist to join our dynamic team, with a focus on serving students in Florida.
Position Overview: As a Digital School Psychologist with VocoVision, you will be responsible for providing virtual psychological services to K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses in the state of Florida. This is a remote, 1099 contract position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of Florida students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs in accordance with Florida state guidelines.
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with Florida education regulations.
- Provide virtual counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and educators within the Florida educational context.
- Monitor and support students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to align with Florida educational standards.
- Work closely with teachers and other school personnel in Florida to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with Florida-specific requirements.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development sessions that cater to the needs of Florida educators.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Florida.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
- Knowledge of and experience with virtual assessment tools and platforms, ensuring compliance with Florida state standards.
- Familiarity with the development and implementation of IEPs in accordance with Florida education regulations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, understanding the cultural and educational context of Florida schools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.
