Digital School Psychologist - Remote Position

About VocoVision: VocoVision is a leading provider of online education services, dedicated to connecting qualified professionals with K-12 students across the country. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Digital School Psychologist to join our dynamic team, with a focus on serving students in Florida.

Position Overview: As a Digital School Psychologist with VocoVision, you will be responsible for providing virtual psychological services to K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses in the state of Florida. This is a remote, 1099 contract position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of Florida students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs in accordance with Florida state guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with Florida education regulations.
  3. Provide virtual counseling and consultation services to students, parents, and educators within the Florida educational context.
  4. Monitor and support students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed to align with Florida educational standards.
  5. Work closely with teachers and other school personnel in Florida to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress in accordance with Florida-specific requirements.
  7. Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development sessions that cater to the needs of Florida educators.

Requirements:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  2. State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Florida.
  3. Previous experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.
  4. Knowledge of and experience with virtual assessment tools and platforms, ensuring compliance with Florida state standards.
  5. Familiarity with the development and implementation of IEPs in accordance with Florida education regulations.
  6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, understanding the cultural and educational context of Florida schools.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of students effectively.

Job Type: This position is a 1099 contract, providing flexibility and the opportunity to create your own schedule. As a contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
