We are engaged on a direct hire opportunity for a Report Developer for a growing client in the Central Valley. The Report Developer will be responsible for providing analytical support for the company and business units. The Report Developer will work with the technology team to support the reporting needs of the organization.

Overview of Report Developer:

  • Responsible for designing and creating reports for the Corporate Finance Reporting Group.
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance and support/QA of several SQL Server and web-based financial systems
  • Develop reports using Crystal Reports 10 (or other report writing tools) in conjunction with development of SQL Server stored procedures, views, etc.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure the quality, usability and accuracy of reports
  • Schedule, maintain and support the distribution and access to reports using several SQL Server and web-based applications
  • Assist with the maintenance/QA/support of custom web content using ASP, SQL, HTML, CFML and Crystal Reports
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolve
  • Perform Database Administration tasks, monitor and optimize system performance
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing, and support production applications

Requirements needed for Report Developer:

  • Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis business process modeling
  • Three years of experience with reporting tools
  • Hands on experience with SQL and Access
  • SQL code
  • Reporting tools - Crystal Reports, Excel
