Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams in the Operating Room (OR) by preparing and organizing surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of surgeons and other team members to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures, while adhering to strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal surgical outes.
• Operate and maintain OR equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed and municating effectively with biomedical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• At least two years of recent experience as a Surgical Tech in an Operating Room setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Excellent munication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
