Lab Technician

Shift:

• This will be a rotating shift alternating days and nights and will rotate every other weekend: 12 hours shifts that rotate between 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Will work 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, etc. ($19.50/hr)

Qualifications:

• Associate's of Science or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field OR 1-2 years of relevant lab based experience
• Must be familiar with moisture testing and pH testing prior to starting the position
• Will be trained on site with HPLC, GC, and other scientific instrumentation

Description:

• HPLC testing
• Prepare process and finished product samples
• Perform analytical testing
• Record results into software programs
• Organize and prepare samples
• Clean testing equipment and lab area
• Perform light maintenance and calibration on all laboratory equipment
• Organize, clean and schedule orders for lab equipment
• Continually compares equipment readouts with samples of standards as required to insure that all systems are operating accurately
