Would you like to work virtually from home using your skills as an intervention specialist? We are looking for an energetic, gregarious, tech-savvy teacher who thinks that virtual learning is the key to opening up a world of limitless opportunities for students with special needs.

Openings: Remote Intervention Specialist (Special Educator)
Location: Home office (must have sufficient set-up)
Contract Type: Independent Contractor -Full Time, 37.5 hours a week
Duration: Remainder of academic year (possibility for year over year renewal)

Job Description:
- Use state-of-the-art technology and virtual learning tools to your advantage when educating pupils with special needs.
- Personalized education plans, or super-powered IEPs, should be created for each studentbased on their individual skills and needs because every student is a little hero in their own right.
- Construct an amazing virtual learning environment that is teeming with enthusiasm, energy, and teamwork, because who said learning couldn't be enjoyable?
- Create lesson plans that combine learning with enjoyment by combining a variety of multisensory techniques that will leave students saying, "Wow! This is amazing!"
- Use online resources to transfer your teaching magic and conduct one-on-one and small-group sessions that elicit lively debates and engaging exercises.
- Adopt data-driven assessment tools to track student development and modify your teaching methods accordingly.

Qualifications:
- Minimum ofBachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Hold a valid Ohio K-12 teaching certification in Special Education. (And proper licenses/certificates in your residential state, if applicable.)
- Proven experience (2 years or more preferred) in working with students with special needs, including those with autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral support.
- Fluent in the ways of virtual learning platforms and tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboardsyou name it, you conquer it).
- Communication skills that rival the power of a superhero's voice, both written and verbal, because you inspire students, parents, and colleagues from afar.
- Exhibit organizational skills so impeccable, even Batman would be impressed, to flawlessly plan and deliver instruction in the virtual realm.
