Senior Accountant
Columbus, OH
We are currently looking for an ambitious and hardworking Senior Accountant to assist in a variety of areas. This position will offer challenging and rewarding opportunities in a fast -paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist in the overall monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare financial reporting packages to support decision-making processes.
- Perform thorough account analysis, including assessing budget-to-actual variances.
- Support special projects and provide ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
- Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and control procedures.
Preferred Experience:
- Solid background in general accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with a variety of software packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
