We are currently working with a transportation company who is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience as in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. The Chief Operating Officer will also be responsible for the following:
• Oversee operational functions such as safety, dispatch, and equipment management/utilization functions
• Optimize supply chain, increase revenue, reduce overhead/operating cost, and lead current/planned sustainable growth of organization
• Lead and mentor operational staff to ensure team has a detailed understanding of trucking operation
• Work with CFO to develop a quoting tool for submittals of quotes/bids to customers
• Establish KPI’s to track operational performance
• Identify area for improvement
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all aspects of business
• Implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and equipment
This is a full-time direct hire position that pays between $130k-$150k.
