Job Details



The Field Service Technician will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, rebuilding, and programming CNC machinery, including axis mills and lathes, as well as CNC controls with Siemens or Fanuc systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in CNC machinery and controls, combined with exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and set up CNC machinery, including axis mills and lathes, at customer sites.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with CNC machinery and controls, both onsite and remotely.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Rebuild and refurbish CNC machinery components as needed, following manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
Program CNC controls with Siemens or Fanuc systems to meet customer requirements and specifications.
Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of CNC machinery.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and product enhancement.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment inspections, repairs, and installations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working onsite at customer locations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the setup, troubleshooting, and programming of CNC machinery, axis mills, and lathes.
Proficiency in programming CNC controls, with experience working with Siemens or Fanuc systems preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service and solutions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed weekly overnight
