Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Franklin, NC

Job Description:

  • Franklin, NC
  • Onsite SLP needed
  • 20 -40 hours/week (candidate ability)
  • March - EOSY
  • Pre-K ages
  • Primary duty consist of treatment planning and group therapy
  • SLPs in the district provide support as needed
  • Macon County Schools, Franklin, North Carolina (40 miles south of Bryson, City, NC)


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and creative resources.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to student success.
  • Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of student performance.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice as an SLP in the state of NC(or eligible for licensure).
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
