Gilead makes it a priority to increase access to its medicines for people who can benefit from them, regardless of where they live or their economic status. Job DescriptionPosition reports to the Senior Director, Stock Plan Services:The Operations Manager is the technical lead for the Stock Plan Services team and ensures stock transactions for all global equity types (Options, RSUs, PSUs, ESPP) are accurately and efficiently processed. Maintains data integrity, reviews and supports financial reporting, and ensures stock plan documents and grant rules are appropriately interpreted and applied. Partners and collaborates with teams in Payroll, Legal, IT, HR, Investor Relations, E*TRADE, CPAs, law firms, and other external partners, as needed.Responsibilitiesinclude:Technical review of stock plan activity, including award releases and option exercises, grants, cancellations, and terminationsTechnical review of ESPP activity, including enrollments and purchasesSupport preparation and/or review data for stock-based compensation calculations for quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures as well as forecasts.  Update the PPT deck and present to External ReportingSupport preparation and/or review data for quarterly EPS reportingCoordinate and/or assist in compiling information for SOX and audit testing and compliance, including the EEO access review.Review annual proxy statement disclosures and 10-Q/10-K disclosuresSupport preparation and filing of SEC Forms 3, 4 & 5Ensure compliance of U.S. and non-U.S. tax withholding and securities processes in partnership with Baker McKenzie and DeloitteManage creation and distribution of department dashboard for the TreasurerSupport and review reporting of stock plan and ESPP activity to U.S. and international PayrollsManage HR reporting requestsReview the calculation of the stock plan reservesCreate and maintain the list of deferred RSU/PSU releasesManage the quarterly China SAFE filingsSupport and review the processing of payments through SAFE-approved bank accountProvide excellent customer service responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional mannerMaintain accurate and up-to-date systems and recordsManage system security of internal tools and interfacesOther tasks, projects and team-member support, as assignedBasic Qualifications:10+ years relevant experience and a BA or BS in Finance or Economics or related field.CEP level 3 is required.Prior managerial experience.5+ years of stock plan administration experience with employee stock purchase plans, stock options, and restricted stock in a global environment.Experience working for a multinational company with a strong understanding of the accounting, tax and legal requirements of equity plans.Familiarity with Equity Edge Online.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Independent and self-motivated.Must be organized and detail-oriented.Ability to prioritize and handle several projects in fast paced environment.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).​Preferred Qualifications:MBA or CPA is a plus.Public accounting experience a plus.Experience with Tableau a plus.Gilead Core Values:•    Integrity (Doing What’s Right)•    Inclusion (Encouraging Diversity)•    Teamwork (Working Together)•    Excellence (Being Your Best)•    Accountability (Taking Personal Responsibility)The salary range for this position is: $205,700.00 - $266,200.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
