Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm

Location: 2901 TRANSPORT ST SE ROOM 1133 ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87107

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assists pharmacists in various pharmaceutical activities to include the preparation and distribution of medications; compounding sterile pharmaceuticals and extemporaneous compounds; maintenance of drug inventory and patient/financial records
  • Maintains pharmacy data and inventory systems
  • Monitors expiration dates of pharmaceuticals; determines re-order levels; directs proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and disposal or return of outdated stock to manufacturers for credit or exchange
  • Verifies accuracy of medication shipments and resolves vendor-related problems

Required Qualifications:

  • High School / GED (or higher)
  • Sterile prep certified or have ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
  • Active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of New Mexico
  • 6+ months pharmacy technician experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer software
