Marketing Manager
Gallopade is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in Peachtree City. The Marketing Manager will join in the planning, development, and implementation of a broad range of marketing programs to support key business objectives and drive growth. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate is independent, creative, analytical, tech-savvy, and able to effectively manage multiple projects while effectively communicating with internal and external audiences.
What You Will Do
Assist and support the execution of projects and help create and execute daily marketing deliverables.
Help ideate and plan marketing campaigns that support Gallopade’s company goals and objectives.
Assess business situations, develop solutions, and work with a team of other marketing professionals to execute those ideas.
Work with the sales department to convert target customers into profitable customers, ensuring they are provided with the sales collateral needed to be successful.
Effectively communicate status and deadlines with team members to help see projects to completion.
Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategy.
Assist the Marketing Director in developing and assessing strategy by analyzing sales forecasts, updating calendars, and planning promotional campaigns and supporting collateral.
Assist with planning and coordinating trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by handling requirements, assignments, schedules, mailing lists, and contacts.
Continuously seek and research new customer opportunities and make recommendations to marketing and sales leaders.

This role will be involved with various marketing functions, including:
Project Management
Manage the marketing team’s schedule of responsibilities and deliverables and help keep the team up-to-date on all projects and timelines
Own and manage the Monday project management software for the team, adding project details, deadlines, deliverables and responsibilities, and keeping the team on track to meet their goals.
Web
Ability to learn and support website platforms, including the organization and display of product information
Assist with the planning of annual promotion schedules and offers
Regularly assess websites to ensure that information is up-to-date and relevant, ensuring that all marketing updates are reflected across all owned channels and platforms.
Email Marketing
Assist in planning email campaigns with Digital Marketing and Content Managers
Assist in the editing process of emails and other communications to ensure that messaging is free from errors and omissions.
Advertising & Social Media
Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to help plan, implement, and monitor campaigns across various channels
Identify PR, Advertising, Partnership, and Awards opportunities for authors, illustrators, and products.
Trade Shows
Manage the planning and execution of annual events and conferences - between 10-15 each year.
Tracks schedules and communicates show plans to key stakeholders and maintains detailed files for each event.
Prepare trade show setup, supplies, and sales materials for events.
Attend/work trade shows as needed for marketing support
Ensures booth components are maintained and up to date; procures supplies and swag as needed to support the annual event schedule.
Works with the marketing team to create pre-show and post-show communications, special signage, or flyers.
Works with Customer Service to audit and track trade show orders.
Helps determine the success of trade shows by gathering feedback from the field, organizing leads, and evaluating ROI.
Regularly researches new shows to consider and assists in planning.
Catalogs
Assist with the development and creation of Gallopade’s Catalog Portfolio
Coordinate Mailing lists and print resources for bi-annual catalog projects
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or other related disciplines.
3-5 years experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent writing and editorial skills
Proven time management skills with the ability to flawlessly manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in the book publishing or education industries is a plus.
Experienced Canva user
Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, CRM software (i.e.Hubspot), and ESPs (i.e. Mailchimp), a plus
Experience using project management software, preferably Monday
