1st Shift Paint Mix Technician
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Spencerville, IN within the Industrial Painting and Finishing industry.
Paint Mix Technician Job Summary:
- $18.50 hour start; Up to $19/hour at 90 days
- 1st Shift: 10-hour shifts 6am – 4pm; OT 12-hour shifts 4am – 4pm
- Mixes paint (solvent and water base) for use in painting according to Tech Data specifications
- Properly discards left over paints, thinners, and solvents.
- Monitor all paint inventory items.
- Maintain necessary records of all paint material mixed and disposed.
- Must have spray gun experience.
Paint Mix Technician Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of paint mixing experience preferred.
- Must know basic math and measurement.
- Must be a team player, be organized, self-motivated, and have problem-solving abilities.
- Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to fumes, solvents & other chemicals.
- MUST be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator.
