Cerified Teacher

This position will be half-time overseeing the online curriculum and working with online students/parents along with building the district’s online program. The other half-time is teaching at the district’s onsite 4-6th grade classroom. Both components of this job require being onsite at Long Creek School.

· Provide feedback and support to online and onsite classroom students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals

· Be a self-starter who works to expand the district online program

· Maintains computer and keyboarding skills for district online program

· Effectively manage time responsibly

· Maintains positive working relationship with online curriculum stakeholders

· Maintains accurate records

· Develops class lesson plans using district approved curriculum

· Maintains a cooperative relationship with students, parents, staff and administration

· Creates a positive learning environment

· Works collaboratively as a team member

· Collaborates with other educational professionals and administration regarding student needs

· Includes other duties as assigned by the Administration.

Dormitory Parent

Optional employment opportunity includes serving as a Dormitory Parent for six foreign exchange students in grades 10-12. Extra duty pay includes $15,000 per year, $800 per month food allowance and free rent including utilities.
