Commercial Construction Carpenter

Power Labor is now hiring experienced commercial and industrial carpentry construction workers for work in Mount Vernon and surrounding areas, for immediate consideration!

Essential Functions

• Carpentry tasks including but not limited to framing, sheet metal installation, window installation, flooring, drywall and more
• Miscellaneous general labor tasks related to skillset
• Conform to all safety regulations
• Follow and understand instructions; such as blueprints, floor plans and verbal instruction
• Efficiently be able to independently work at an active job site

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, preferred
• Technical and/or Trade School Training, preferred
• Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
• Hired candidates must have proper PPE; boots, hard hat, high-viz shirt, high-viz vest
  • Must wear pants daily
• Driver's License and Reliable Transportation daily
• Must have own tools for carpentry and general construction tasks, including cordless drill
• Ideal candidates are driven, motivated and come to work ready to get the job done!
  Minimal phone usage during work hours
  Maintains schedule; allotted two 15-minute breaks & standard lunch break

Employment Details

• Pay is based on experience and skillset; candidates with an updated resume get first consideration
• Hours are First Shift, Monday-Friday
  OT offered to candidates who display great work ethic and come to work everyday
