Video Services Technician

The Town of Brewster seeks qualified applicants for the position of Video Services Technician.  This position is responsible for performing professional and technical work assisting the Media Coordinator in the operation of the Town’s Government Cable TV Channel (BGTV). 

Under the Direction of the Media Coordinator, the Video Services Technician operates video production equipment to record and broadcast committee meetings, public forums, events, and Town meetings. Provides on-site support for meetings and troubleshoots broadcasting and recording equipment as needed. Coordinates and communicates with Town staff, boards, and committees regarding meeting scheduling and recording needs, and assists with post-production editing, uploading, and distribution of recordings for public access. 

High School degree or equivalent required and one year of related work experience with broadcast or public access television preferable, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. This is a part-time, 19 hour per week un-benefited position covered under the Personnel Bylaw Agreement with a starting pay rate of $24.14 to $26.38 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, evenings and occasional weekends required.
