Entry Level Metal Worker

At Gibraltar, we are currently seeking a Metal Worker. Successful Metal Workers are hard-working, dedicated individuals who like working with their hands and don’t mind getting dirty. Working with steel the way we do, is an art form. You will be proud of the work that you produce for our customers. 

As an Entry Level Metal Worker, you will do a little of everything, mostly consisting of:

• Sanding steel
• Grinding
• CNC
• Metal pressing
• Drilling
• Machine operated welding

Here’s what we will count on you for as a Metal Worker:

• Available for 6:30 am – 3:30 pm shift and 6:30 – 12:30 pm on Fridays! Regular overtime – we average 45 hours per week and overtime opportunities are common
• Forklift certified or willing to obtain certification
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Positive, team player attitude with good communication
• Self-motivated to successfully work on your own
• Ability to regularly lift up to 65 pounds without assistance
• Capability to pass all pre-employment screenings – reference checks, drug screen and criminal background check
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
