MINIMUM 3 YEARS MACHINE SHOP EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is hiring a General Machinist ll for a Manufacturing Equipment Company in Pomona, CA.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1st Shift 6am - 2:30pm
Requirements for the General Machinist ll:
- Must have both CNC and Manual experience
- Knowledge of “G” code is required
- Experience in both FANUC and HAAS controls for Lathes
- Bending, lifting upwards of 75lbs, team lifting, leaning heavy material onto a dolly to move across the warehouse
- Push/pull 50 pounds maximum with wheels
- Push/pull 40 pounds maximum without wheels

Responsibilities of the General Machinist ll:
- Sets up and operates computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery and conventional (manually operated) machines that mills, punches, drills, broaches or reams metal and or plastic parts
- Knowledge of “G” code is required
- Operate machines HAAS CNC Lathes, FEMCO CNC Lathes, CHEVALIER CNC Lathes
- Able to edit programs and write simple programs
- Operate machine tools including boring tools, calipers, drilling machines, grinding machines, lathes, milling cutters, and workshop presses
