Paraprofessional

Our Client is seeking Paraprofessionals to provide service in Simsbury, CT and surrounding areas.

Multiple client opportunities for the 2024 school year are available!
* Both full-schedule and part-time options available

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Work with students who demonstrate behavioral challenges
* Assist teacher in the classroom as needed
* Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students
* Accurately collects and documents behavior data
* Able to follow a child’s Individualized Education Plan as told by the Client.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma/GED required, Associate Degree, 60 Credits or ParaPro a plus
* Must be comfortable with children who demonstrate behavioral challenges and/or have special needs including autism or medical fragility
* Must be able to pass a Fingerprint background check and DCF background check
