We are looking for an **Outbound Logistics Forklift Operator *to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to* Outbound Logistics Supervisor **and based in *Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role*.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper labeling and system accuracy of every product in customer Finished Goods and place accordingly in stock

  • Perform put-away functions for all customer Finished Goods and document in electronic inventory system transactions

  • Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of outbound deliveries

  • Completes technical documentation on all shipments

  • Execute safe and damage free loading of outbound customer shipments

  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on material handling equipment

  • Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing inventory, fix incorrect electronic inventory, and report damaged products for disposition and repair

  • Monitor and remove waste from shipping activities and manufacturing areas to required disposal locations

  • Assist in performance of cycle counts

  • Perform accurate Oracle transactions for

    all inbound/outbound materials

  • Assist in the development of inventory procedures to create the most efficient processes

  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees utilizing

    standard job instructions

  • Follow standard operating procedures inclusive of standard job instructions and required PPE

  • Maintain and implement general housekeeping/5S in shipping and yard areas

  • Perform other duties as required

**Skills and Experience: **

  • High school or equivalency diploma required
  • Experience and certification in forklift operation required
  • Prior warehouse and manufacturing experienced preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Preferred experience with Oracle
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic hand tool experience
  • Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment and Lean Manufacturing systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
  • Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferred

Physical Requirements (optional):

  • Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

You should be proficient in:

  • Forklift Licensed
  • High School / GED
  • Lean Manufacturing Principles
