Position: Data Reporting QC Analyst

Location: Onsite in Columbus, OH

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities:


  • Conducts rigorous quality assurance checks on systems data integration for all online reports across multiple clients
  • Analyze assessment result samples against the reporting specifications to ensure that the configuration has been done as per the rules documented in the specification document and the assessment results are accurate and do not contain any error.
  • Document quality assurance results by entering information into Jira, recording detailed issues found.
  • Communicate with management and other team members when issues are discovered and offer possible solutions to help correct any possible errors on the reports.
  • Assess quality assurance strategies periodically to determine best practices and improvements that could be more efficient and could lead to fewer issues on reporting.
  • Create User Acceptance Testing document that defines the various test cases that client can use to conduct testing on the site.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a Statistics, Economics, Educational Measurement, or a related field required. Master’s degree in Business Management or Public Administration a plus.
  • A fine attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts, including data relationships and software configuration.
  • Experience with programming, data analysis or data reporting in any industry is desired.
  • Experience working with online systems is desired.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Excel.
