ICU Director

This Magnet 300+ bed teaching hospital has a new 40,000-square-foot, $71 million emergency department expansion! Their busy, growing hospital features a newly renovated intensive care unit and a Level III Advanced Trauma Center. This is a Grade A Hospital from Leapfrog and a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by the Joint Commission.

This Director will be over a 70 bed ICU/IMU and have four managers reporting directly to them. This unit does have two newer managers on the team who are eager to learn and be mentored by someone who is comfortable with coaching and guiding them.

This Director will report to the CNO, who is a compassionate servant leader who wants to find someone equally driven to maintain excellence in the hospital. The ideal candidate will have confidence in a high-quality hospital, as this is one of the highest within the health system.

Requirements:

• RN Required, BSN required, Masters related degree preferred
• Minimum of seven years previous clinical experience in critical care required, three years in clinical nurse leadership also required.
• Experience as a director strongly preferred
