Maintenance Technician

BiltWise Structures, LLC is a systems built housing company based out of Greenwood, SC. We build modular houses in a factory setting. We are working on opening our second location here in Roswell, NM. We are an organization run by modular industry veterans, and we make a high end, versatile, quality product. We offer great company culture, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. The Maintenance Technician at the Roswell plant will report to the Maintenance Manager, COO, and Plant Manager. We are looking for someone who is looking for a new challenge with a strong mechanical mind and welding experience. Willing to invest training in the right person. 

Title: 

Maintenance Technician

Reports To: 

Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, COO

Purpose:

Responsible for welding/fabricating components needed to build modular houses, such as jigs and carriers. Responsible for general maintenance work within the plant. Assists in demolition/modification work within the plant. 

Business Outcomes:

• Sound carriers, jigs, and other building assistance components are built in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Building maintenance is taken care of in a timely manner
• Our product leaves in excellent condition, to excellent quality standards

Essential Functions:

1. Welding/fabrication: Welding to create components for our modular housing plant’s processes. (Jigs/tables/carriers) We will be very resourceful in this, repurposing components and pieces from our current inventory to create new ways to use them. 

1. Building Maintenance: Assisting us in maintenance within and outside of the building. Completing these projects on an as-needed basis. 

1. New construction maintenance/troubleshooting: Collaborating with tradesmen to fix any electrical/plumbing issues within our units. Helping the production line as needed. 

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Bilingual a huge plus
• Attention to detail and quality
• Creative, resourceful mindset
• Mechanically minded, someone who is proficient in fixing small to medium machines and systems
• Auto repair experience a plus
• Construction experience a plus
• Enjoys fixing things and being a problem solver

Education & Experience:

• Mig/Stick welding a non-negotiable
• Machining/maintenance/technical degree a plus
• Construction experience a plus
