We provide transformational learning programs to vulnerable children within a childcare setting. NOW HIRING A NUTRITION MANAGER:

The Nutrition Manager is responsible for the overall design and implementation of annual plans related to the nutrition needs of children and families supported by AEL, supports the creation of developmentally appropriate nutrition education curriculum, and negotiates and manages contracts with nutrition-related service providers.

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of Associate Degree and certificate in Food Service Management
  • or a related Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Studies with emphasis in Child Development/Food Service/Nutrition highly desirable.
  • Minimum two years experience in supervision of a large scale food production operation, including staff supervision, sanitation/health standards, menu planning, bulk food purchasing, large quantity food preparation and operation of food service equipment preferred.
  • Must be registered and/or certified in a dietary field by state and/or local entities within one year of hire date.
