Accounts Payable Clerk - Full-time

Our client, in the telecommunications industry is seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As a AP Clerk, you will be part of the Accounting team.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Chatsworth, CA (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $23.90 - $26.56/hr.

What’s the Job?

• Check all invoices for proper documentation prior to issuing payment
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving orders
• Review invoices and gather proper approvals for payment
• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
• Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
• Entering and verifying employee expense reports
• Responding to vendor enquiries regarding payments
• Maintain copies of W-9s
• Submit W-9 file to IRS

What’s Needed?

• Accounts payable experience .
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting skills
• Experience using QAD software
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
