Job Description

The U.S. Client Marketing team, part of the North America Marketing organization, is transforming how we become the marketing partner of choice with our Clients which include financial institutions, fintechs, merchants and processors. The team continues to experience exceptional growth and to support this growth, has established the Marketing Services Delivery team to lead the implementation and execution of Marketing Services engagements on behalf of Clients.

The Senior Manager of Marketing Services Delivery will have a marketing operations strategy mindset, leading the implementation, management and ongoing evolution of processes and controls to support the seamless delivery of Client engagements. This individual will also lead the implementation and execution of Marketing Services engagements on behalf of Clients.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Services Delivery, and will lead the efforts of one (1) Marketing Analyst.

Essential Functions

  • Build and nurture individual and team expertise across Marketing Services pillars - e.g., research& insights, marketing strategy, campaign development, campaign delivery & optimization and campaign measurement
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in sponsorships, events, and experiential marketing for the Marketing Services Delivery team; work across the business (Global, North America and US Client Marketing) to capture and transfer expert knowledge, insights, and best practices
  • Identify and develop scalable delivery frameworks to improve speed to market, ensure work is delivered efficiently and executed flawlessly
  • Provide marketing thought leadership and expert project management skills to develop and implement marketing programs on behalf of Clients - e.g., research& insights, marketing strategy, campaign development, campaign delivery & optimization and campaign measurement
  • Establish a collaborative feedback loop with Marketing Services Business Development and other key delivery stakeholders, champion continuous improvement of Sales x Delivery operating model
  • Prioritize and monitor the work of one (1) Marketing Analyst responsible for implementing marketing programs, ensuring they meet Client needs and execute within budget and on time
  • Assist in developing processes to enhance working model with internal agency team to improve speed to market while ensuring creative output reflects Visa payments marketing expertise and aligns to Client program objectives
  • Nurture, grow and deepen Client relationships; establish US Client Marketing as preferred marketing partner of choice among our clients
  • Build and optimize Marketing Services Delivery reporting solutions designed to monitor and track team productivity and efficiency
  • Manage the implementation and tracking of Client engagement audits; recommend process enhancements to improve future performance
  • Evaluate post-engagement Client survey scores; collaborate with team to identify and implement enhancements to improve future performance
  • Grow and development team talent; lead the efforts of one (1) Marketing Analyst

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
*8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
*7+ years of experience in financial services or payments marketing including issuers, fintechs, processors or merchants
*Successful operating in fast-paced, highly matrixed organizations

Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
*Authority in multiple marketing disciplines - e.g., brand, direct response, research, content, social, influencer, sponsorship, events, product
*Deep expertise in the areas of managing and executing sponsorship activations, events, and experiential marketing
*Understanding of market dynamics in the areas of consumer, small business, commercial, prepaid, debit, credit payments
*Accomplished at building trusted relationships with cross-functional team members, key stakeholders, business leaders and Clients
*Ability to structure, manage and coordinate complex projects across multiple internal/external stakeholders
*Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence in highly matrixed organizations to drive decision making and move initiatives forward
*Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and ambiguous environment to drive fact-based marketing recommendations, solutions and decisions
*Leadership experience managing agency partners or providing marketing consulting services to lead creation of comprehensive, full funnel, multi-channel marketing programs
*Strong executive presence; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience engaging with Executive and C-level suite audiences
*Expert on all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Tableau

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,900.00 to 192,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
