Job Title: Credit Manager

Location: Long Beach area

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Credit Manager to join our finance team. The Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing credit risk, establishing credit limits, and managing the collection of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make sound judgments regarding creditworthiness.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers using financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
Establish and monitor credit limits for new and existing customers.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve credit applications in a timely manner.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and take appropriate action to address past due accounts.
Communicate effectively with sales teams, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve credit-related issues.
Analyze market trends and customer payment histories to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Prepare regular reports on credit metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to credit management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of insert number years of experience in credit management or related role.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
Experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment techniques preferred.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), is a plus.
