Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12+month.

Hours are M-TH 6 am-4:30pm. OT is required on Friday and possibly Saturday

 

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

Separates and shapes magnet wires extending from stator.

Operates machine stripper or hand tool to remove insulation from magnet wire.

Wraps magnet wire onto lead wires and applies solder.

Applies tubing around solder connections.

Applies "putty" on lead wires to secure proper position.

Applies varnish to stator winding, where applicable

Applies glue and activator by brush to stator and rotor assemblies.

Attaches circuit board onto heat sink and applies "potting" compound.

Completes final motor assembly.

Tests motor performance per specifications.

Prepares and packages final motor assembly

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
