Material Handler

Manpower is looking for Material Handlers for a Temp to Hire opportunity at one of our Premier Clients in the West Chester area. 

Bring your strong work ethic and experience in material handling (Stand up, Reach truck exp is a plus) to a job that offers steady hours and steady pay. 

Hours are 2:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Training will occur on 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for 1-2 weeks. 

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

What’s the Job?

Performs multifunctional duties in a warehouse environment related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and the put-away of parts. Responsible for checking and maintaining incoming and outgoing shipments. Must have the ability to perform all operator functions such as put-aways and picks. Generally works from written orders but may work from verbal orders if necessary.

• Work from an order picklist/RF scanner to fill customer part orders from warehouse bins. 
• Responsible for grouping parts together according to the order pick list and transporting the accurate parts to packing.
• Proper and accurate count is required for each order before packing the order in a suitable manner. Responsible for completeness or accuracy of orders. May need to complete orders that are not filled completely prior to packing.
• Performs tasks necessary for shipping and/or receiving of parts.

What’s Needed?

• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Team player!
• Proficient in PC-based software programs a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Positive attitude.
