Part-time Preschool Teacher

Prospect Academy of Westchester is a multilingual Montessori-based early childhood daycare center. We are looking for a Head Teacher for the afternoon English program.

This is a part-time position.

Early childhood Preschool Head Teacher REQUIREMENTS:

• Afternoon availability is a must - 1:00-5:00 pm.
• CDA or Bachelor's degree is required;
• Know and follow Rules and Regulations issued for Daycare Centers by OCFS;
• Previous experience working with children at least for 2 years;
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with children and adults;
• Experience with the Montessori approach is a plus;
• Fluency in Spanish language is a plus.

Salary is based on qualifications and experience

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 21+ years or older

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the education industry
• At least bachelor's degree or higher
