OBGYN Supervisor, Sonography

Pride Health is hiring OBGYN Supervisor, Sonography to support our client's hospital facility in Worcester, MA. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire opportunity (Travel and local options).

Role: Supervises assigned employees and activities for the efficient administration of sonography service line. Coordinates sonography activities across OBGYN division. Provides direct sonography care as required.

Duties:
• Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Manager, this role incorporates all the technical and supervisory skills associated with Ultrasound.
• Supervise assigned personnel including scheduling, orientation, training, and performance evaluations. Make recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and other similar actions.
• Perform and document all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) per DPH and ACR guidelines.
• Responsible for all accreditation and state inspection processes
• Perform ultrasound exams as needed based on staffing.
• Maintain daily records on all ultrasound examinations.
• Monitor compliance with recommendations for follow-up studies.
• Maintain pathological results from biopsies.
• Maintain accurate technologist and radiologist credentials.
• Maintain accurate records of performed and interpreted procedures.
• Maintain and update medical audit analysis in coordination with the lead interpreting physician.
• Perform related administrative duties as needed.

Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required
• Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
• Must be certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Education/Experience Required
• Must be competent to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines.
• Minimum of 3 years ultrasound experience required, certified breast tech highly desired.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, must be available for support of operations Sat/Sun
Location: Worcester, MA
Floating Requirements: Some travel required to Auburn, Leominster, Southborough, Westborough, Natick.
Pay range: $50-62/hour or $2512-2860 weekly package! (Negotiable for the right skill set)
