Peoplelink Staffing has a fantastic new opportunity with a GROWING company in Mishawaka, Indiana. Our client is a producer of sound damping for aerospace. Work in a family environment where everyone knows your name, and you’re not just a number. Together we are seeking candidates for a Pattern Transfer/CNC Setup role.
Pattern Transfer Job Description
- 1st Shift - 4am - 3:30pm
- Pay: $17-$18/hr to start
- Experience running CNC-type machines, CNC milling experience would be helpful but not required.
- Understanding of G Code - will not be coding, but is helpful in understanding how it works.
- Using calipers and magma mic to measure tolerances and thicknesses.
- Entering inventory on a computer
Pattern Transfer Qualifications
- Previous CNC setup and programming experience (Wood Mill preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
- Understanding of G Code
- Willingness to cross-train
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, kneel, twist and bend
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic mathematical skills
- Excellent attendance
- Proficient and comfortable on computers
