Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Truck Manager. The Food Truck Manager will be responsible for operating our food truck, transporting it to various locations, and serving customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate the food truck to designated locations, following all traffic laws and regulations.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on the food truck to ensure it is in good working condition.

• Set up and prepare the food truck for service, including stocking supplies, setting up equipment, and ensuring cleanliness.

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing information about menu items.

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times to ensure the health and safety of customers and team members.

• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

• Follow instructions from management regarding special promotions, menu changes, or other directives.

• Handle any customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and timely manner.

• Keep accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.

• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as needed.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food handler's permit or certification.

• Experience operating food service equipment.

• Knowledge of different cuisines and food trends.

• Multilingual skills are a plus.
