Histotechnologist/Mohs Tech Dermatology

Busy dermatology/Mohs practice looking for a part-time Mohs tech/histotech. Job duties include:

• Preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Mohs surgeon
• Staining tissue specimens with dyes or other chemicals to make cell details visible under microscope
• Cutting sections of body tissues for microscopic examination using microtomes
• Mounting tissue specimens on slides

Job Requirements

• ASCP (or similar) certification in histology recommended
• 1+ years of experience as a Mohs tech or dermatology histotechnologist required.

Job Types: Temporary, Per diem, Contract, Part-time, PRN, Full-time

Pay: $400.00 - $500.00 per day
