Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk - Covington, GA

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to support our team in Covington, GA. The primary responsibilities for this role are commercial billing, cash applications and other data entry. A focus on accuracy and efficiency will ensure your success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks with precision and attention to detail
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Maintain organized records and files
• Review and analyze documents, spreadsheets, and reports as needed
• Support team members with administrative tasks as requested
• Assist with incoming and outgoing emails
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and 10 key data entry
• Strong math skills necessary
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
• Dependable and punctual

Optional Qualifications: 

• Previous experience with customer billing and/or cash applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct
