Welder/Fitter/Fabricator

Our custom fabrication and structural steel shop has open positions for talented and experienced welder/fitter/fabricators. We are looking for individuals with 7+ years of fitting/welding/fabrication experience in the heavy structural, miscellaneous metals, and custom fabrication realm. We work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Experience with all three metals is preferred but not required.

Skills:

• Must have structural and miscellaneous fitting and welding experience
• Working knowledge of welding procedure specifications (WPS)
• Proficient with MIG welding; must be able to pass a 3G/4G FCAW test and fit/print reading test
• Versatile in welding and fabrication shop functions
• Accurately read blueprints/drawings
• Accurately layout and fit components such as stairs and handrails
• Fabricate and weld carbon steel components
• Aluminum, and stainless-steel welding experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to operate CNC equipment such as plasma tables, press brakes, PythonX is a plus but not required
• Reliable and dependable team player
• Observe safety rules and regulations
• Produce quality work within given deadline

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of fitting/welding/fabricating experience with structural and miscellaneous metals
• Must be able to pass 3G/4G FCAW weld test and fit/print reading test
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings including THC and background check
• Eligible to work in the United States of America
