Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Wilmer, TX

Job Responsibilities:

As a Production Planner Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and coordinating the production time, orders, requirements, delivery time, and material matching information to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders.
• Analyzing and summarizing production costs and identifying cost optimization opportunities for each department to reduce costs and increase profitability.
• Monitoring and tracking the output of order demands, and adjusting the range of battery cells according to the daily report issued by the process department to optimize the production schedule and meet the customer needs.
• Managing and distributing the materials according to the production schedule, ensuring the safety stock and accuracy of material distribution, setting up an inventory warning system, and communicating with the headquarters to arrange the arrival of materials within the safety stock warning line.
• Verifying and updating the material changes for production orders according to the material matching table in the material control department, and ensuring the accuracy of material distribution.
• Coordinating with the headquarters material control to push orders or allocate the stagnant and aging materials in the warehouse, and applying the first in & out principle for material recycling.
• Tracking and overseeing the preparation, shipment, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery time of materials, and handling any abnormal situations during the process to ensure the smooth supply of order materials.
• Maintaining and recording the material accounts in the component material room and MRO room, ensuring the completeness and clarity of the incoming and outgoing documents, and verifying the consistency and accuracy of the ledger, system, and physical items.
• Ordering and procuring MRO materials based on production requirements and inventory levels, and tracking the delivery status and quality of the materials.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in planning and material control.
• Familiarity with warehousing principles, production planning, cost control, and material management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
