Mission / Summary: As an Accounting Supervisor reporting to the Controller, you will provide financial input to our business decision-making process, aiming to maximize long-term value, cash flows, and shareholder return at Americas Foodservice Division. This position will support our Visalia, CA converting facility. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in an Accounting / Finance role and will provide accurate and timely financial reporting to ensure we meet our business objectives. You will also work with cross-functional teams to analyze data, provide management with a fair assessment of key projects, and support continuous improvement activities to achieve world-class financial reporting standards.

Job Functions:

• Works under the Plant Controller in preparation and analysis of finance operating results, compiles KPMs for plant management, prepares both operating and annual budgets.
• Supervises up to three employees, conducting one-on-ones and annual reviews, providing periodic training, encouraging engagement, delegating daily duties, and promoting a safe work environment.
• Maintains documentation for assets under construction as well as the Fixed Asset system.
• Validates and monitors all inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Maintains the product cost system.

• Analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on findings.

Background / Experience:

• 3-5 years' experience in Accounting.
• Supervisory experience.

Education / Knowledge:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

Schedule Demands:

• General schedule is an 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employee must be willing to work early mornings, nights, and/or weekends as necessary during key accounting periods and be punctual.
• Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding, or by rail.

Physical Demands:

• Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
• Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
• Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.

Salary:

• Salary Min: $69,825.00
• Salary Mid: $93,135.00
• Salary Max: $116,445.00
