Bookkeeper (Profit Guardian)

First off, this position is not your typical bookkeeping job. You will do more than keep our clients' books; you'll educate them and ensure they understand their financials.

The candidate will:

• Handle all bookkeeping and accounting tasks

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Identify, test, and implement AI-driven accounting software and tools.

• Produce monthly reports

• Hold monthly meetings with clients to show them  how to interpret financial data and make smart business decisions

• Work with CPAs for tax filings

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must; additional languages are a plus;

• Associate degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping Certification;

• 1 - 2 years of experience in similar positions. Experience in hospitality a PLUS!!

• Proficiency with QB, payroll tax, and sales tax is required, as well as a solid understanding of accounting principles.

• Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication and presentation skills;

• Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential, and classified information;

• Team player
