Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good driving record
- Able to pass a FBI background check
