Job Description:

CNC Machine Operators manufacture and machine parts to customer requirements. Direction is gained from Job Travelers, First Article Inspection Reports, Quality Control Plans, and Part Specific Specifications.

CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:

  • Running first piece article ready for inspection.

  • Verifying parts by using precision measuring equipment.

  • Changing tools and offsets based in cutting conditions.

· Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications.

· Inspect the machinery and products for quality assurance.

· Handle materials appropriately and safely.

· Set-Up Machines.

· Data Collection.

Additional Requirements:

· Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily work assignments.

· Positive attitude.

· Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.

· Ability to use various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, and comparators.
