THE LOCATION...

Approximately 1.5 hours away from Atlanta, we are gearing up for the highly anticipated Spring 2024 opening of Athens, Georgia’s first luxury, boutique hotel, Rivet House. With a close proximity to The University of Georgia, we are seeking dedicated and experienced team members to add to our growing team and ensure the success of this unique property. The hotel will have 50 luxurious guest rooms, an upscale Italian restaurant and bar, a coffee bar and retail shop, and a 2800 square foot health and beauty spa.


THE ROLE

We are looking for a licensed and professional Massage Therapist to join our team and offer informed recommendations so customers can select appropriate services that suit their needs with ease.


What we will ask of you:

  • Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
  • Designs specific sessions based on members or guests individual needs.
  • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
  • Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Performs hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.
  • Utilizes other approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Communicates various promotions to clients.
  • Follows all practice policies and protocols.
  • Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).
  • Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Requirements for Success:

  • Proven work experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Ability to develop a plan of action for clients care
  • Ability to make a client feel comfortable
  • Deep knowledge of skin care techniques
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent with a valid Georgia Massage Therapist license required
  • Must be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
  • Flexible to work days, nights, holidays and weekends when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
