Automotive Shop Custodian

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and meticulous individual to join our team as an Automotive Shop Custodian. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our automotive shop, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break areas, and other common areas. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and inform management of any shortages. Assist in organizing tools, equipment, and other materials. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean and orderly workspace.

Requirements:

Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work during non-business hours if necessary.
