The Job:
The Director of Corporate Accounting is a member of the finance and accounting team and reports to CFO with responsibility for oversight of all accounting and financial reporting functions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Maintain the Project Cost and CIP listings
- Maintain the Fixed Asset modules
- Maintain the Loan schedule
- Maintain the Schedule of Real Estate
- Review for accuracy the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements. Prepare adjusting journal entries for review/approval.
- Work with auditors and respond to auditor inquiries for financial statements and for tax matters
- Assist the Accounting Team with other ad-hoc projects as needed
- Provide support on special projects assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Must have experience in reporting and US GAAP
