Position Overview:

As a Customer Service representative, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of customer orders. Reporting to the Material's Scheduler/Supervisor, you'll be responsible for handling incoming orders and liaising with various departments to guarantee on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer portals daily to ensure shipments meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct Chrysler SMART checks and Ford DDL/eDDL checks as per customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with relevant personnel for Ford GPIRS/Chrysler Pilot orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Verify ASN receipt on customer portals and initiate manual ASN if necessary.
  • Review DRIVE and Super-G screens for violations weekly and address them promptly.
  • Respond to errors in QAD eCommerce screen in a timely manner.
  • Setup new sales orders and enter releases into QAD for new customers.
  • Perform QAD housekeeping tasks such as end-effecting old sales orders and obsolete part numbers.
  • Fill in for Materials Analyst and Materials Scheduler when required.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and relevant training sessions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills across all departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused.
  • Familiarity with QAD MRP system and customer portals.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Required Education and Experience:
  • 2 years of college and 3 years of related experience OR high school diploma and 5 years of related experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and MS Office Products.
