We have established lasting relationships with many residential, commercial, and industrial utility customers. We are a unique electrical contractor due to the fact that we perform so many different types of electrical work. We perform residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work, including sports lighting, airport lighting, traffic signal, underground systems, pole-line, and utility work. With over 120 employees and 300 pieces of equipment, there is no job too small or too large for Jess Howard Electric Company.

POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS

This position provides clients and stakeholders with thorough explanations of pricing and cost details based on gathered data and supported with further estimates of projected project costs and expected project schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Estimate substations and Medium Voltage / High Voltage power distribution and electrical construction.
• Design, build, layout and construct utility substations and medium to high voltage power distribution systems.
• Prepare pre-approval project estimates based on limited information and general scopes of work, often lacking specific detailed RFP information.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

• Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of substation/MV-HV power distribution systems estimating experience
• Thorough knowledge of contract relationships, subcontracting, and vendor relations
• Ability to read blueprints
• We conduct drug screens and background checks as part of our pre-employment screening process

WORK ARRANGEMENT

In Office

SALARY RANGE

$75,000 -95,000+ (negotiable based on education and experience), plus bonus
