We are Gateway Regional Medical Center. Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

In this role, you will have diverse responsibilities in clinical and program management areas. The clinical work will be based in our Occupational Medicine Clinic dedicated to United States Steel Granite City Works. There is a case mix includes occupational illness and injury management, clinical toxicology, independent medical examinations, fitness for duty assessments, pre-placement evaluations and medical surveillance. Other responsibilities include oversight of support staff.

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program - OR - Graduate of an accredited PA program or an accredited university
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in an occupational medicine clinic or urgent care setting.
  • State of Illinois license and DEA
  • DOT Medical Examiner (or acquire within 90 days)
  • Medical oversight comes from our Occupational Health Medical Director and will mentor this position.
