We are hiring an Accounting/Financial Preparer to join a family-owned financial management company servicing community associations throughout Northern California!
As an Accounting/Financial Preparer, you'll be at the heart of financial operations, responsible for monthly review of financial reports for board review. You will utilize your keen understanding of income statements and balance sheets, coupled with experience in journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general accounting procedures, to successfully review financials with a focus on integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You’ll be Doing:
- Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze income statements and balance sheets to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Debits and Credits: Execute debit and credit entries accurately, maintaining the integrity of financial records.
- Journal Entries: Record financial transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a comprehensive record of all business activities.
- Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- General Accounting Procedures: Implement and adhere to standard accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Asset and Liability Management: Monitor and manage assets and liabilities, optimizing financial resources for maximum efficiency.
- Promote Positive Workplace Culture: Contribute to vibrant company culture by bringing good energy and enthusiasm to the workplace, fostering teamwork, and supporting colleagues in achieving common goals.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- 2+ years of prior accounting experience
- Proficiency in debit & credit entries related to assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses
- Experience with Vantaca a plus
- Positive energy with a commitment to integrity, professionalism, and service excellence.
