Responsibilities:


Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with OEM suppliers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Order Coordination:

  • Coordinate the placement of orders with OEM suppliers based on production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Verify order accuracy, including quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Monitor order status and proactively address any delays or discrepancies to minimize disruptions to production.

Shipment Tracking and Logistics:

  • Track shipments from OEM suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate logistics arrangements, including transportation and customs clearance, to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide updates on shipment status and anticipated delivery times.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of incoming materials or components to verify quality and conformance to requirements.
  • Address quality issues promptly, working with suppliers to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Issue Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the procurement or production process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and quality assurance, to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • Document and escalate unresolved issues to management as necessary, providing recommendations for resolution.
Requirements:

This is how you will take us forward:

  • 3 plus years of experience in a similar OEM Supplier Coordinator type role
  • Bachelors degree in construction management or engineering a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders required
  • Proven success in negotiations and pricing discussions
  • Experience on large scale manufacturing site projects a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
